Printpack is looking for an HR Compliance Manager in Atlanta, GA. The HR Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and industry standards while following the business and HR strategies.

This role includes developing and implementing policies, procedures, and compliance programs, partnering with HR, Legal, and Internal Audit functions. The HR Compliance Manager role also involves staying up to date with changes related to employment laws, regulations, and industry standards and making sure changes are reflected in the company's compliance strategy and programs.
Qualifications:
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field. HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI-PHR) and legal experience and training is preferred.

  • Experience - 7+ years of experience in HR compliance, employment laws and regulations, employee relations, or a related field.

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to explain compliance requirements clearly. Leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change within the organization. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective HR compliance strategies. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to AAP, EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA. It includes maintaining the Printpack associate handbook to remain current with changes in law or policy.

  • Monitor changes in existing and new employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels and recommend necessary changes.

  • Collaborate closely with the HR, Legal, and Internal Audit functions, and management at Printpack to execute cohesive and comprehensive compliance strategies and ensure compliance with employment and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate potential compliance issues and ensure compliance with Printpack HR policies, employment laws and regulations.

  • Ensure that all employment policies and procedures are communicated effectively to HR, managers, and associates.

  • Act as a leader of the Printpack Compliance Training Team to design and implement training and education on compliance topics for Printpack associates such as Business Code of Conduct, Harassment and Discrimination Prevention, employment laws, company policies, employee classification, etc.

  • Assist in investigating and resolving compliance issues and other potential workplace violations.

  • Maintain a comprehensive compliance database and record-keeping practices, monitor performance and design meaningful reports on employment compliance metrics.

  • Prepare and submit required employment compliance reports to government agencies.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations.

Physical Demands & Travel:

  • Physical Demands - This role works in an office environment with occasional travel to Printpack locations. When visiting manufacturing locations, the position must wear personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, protective eyewear, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection. Must be able to work on a computer and utilize tools for virtual meetings as needed.

  • Travel Requirements - This role is expected to work 90% of the time in the Atlanta office and 10% traveling to visit Printpack manufacturing locations.
