The Environmental Scientist / Geoscientist / Task Manager will assist project managers in project scope and budget development, health and safety plan preparation, subcontractor procurement, project planning and task management, reporting, deliverable reviews, and closeout. As a Task Manager, you will apply your existing knowledge and develop new skills while working on a variety of challenging environmental and construction projects. You will support environmental and remediation projects by managing field personnel to conduct site assessments, sample collection, and remediation oversight. You will support project managers by preparing subcontractor purchase order requisitions, creating budget analyses, ensuring compliance with project schedules, supervising field personnel, and by providing waste characterization/management and resource management. You will be technically responsible to a more senior geoscientist or project manager to provide accurate and pertinent scientific data evaluation, procedures, and techniques; and to prepare reports or provide a summary of conclusions and recommendations based on field investigations and literature reviews. Availability to travel (5-10%) is a requirement, with most travel being day trips; however, multiple-day trips may be needed depending on the project and/or location. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Salary Range: $55,500 - $74,100 - $92,600 |
