Description Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Medicine Req#1142 MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland, ME Emergency Department is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. This provider will work alongside our Emergency Department Physicians to provide care in our emergency departments in Portland, ME. Come join our excellent team of dedicated providers! Desired Qualifications & Experience: * Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. * Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure. * Experience in Emergency Medicine/EMS is required. * Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. * Ability to effectively triage, organize and prioritize. * Ability to function as part of a team. * Proficient computer skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality This position offers: Collaborative, team approach to patient care.
