When your actions lead to success.

• Operate slitter in a safe and efficient way; trouble-shoot and correct problems.

• Splice rolls in such a way that no blocking on the under-layer occurs.

• Lift off rewind shafts from slitter; re-thread the shafts.

• Maintain proper level of oxydry power in reservoir.

• Maintain slitter and work area in a clean condition.

• Responsible for all In Process Inspection, communicating any possible defects to downstream processes.

• Communicating issues to other Departments via Roll Tags, Comments in digital format, Signage on Rolls.

• Complete required paperwork in written English neatly and accurately; make sure that all written instructions on order sheet, and other instructions, are followed.

• Responsible for Quality of all products, and communication associated with their rolls.

Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Shift and schedule: 12-hour shift, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Monday through Thursday. Must be willing to work Fridays.

• Proficiency in operating heavy cutting and sawing equipment, and knowledge of safety instructions and procedures for such equipment.

• Basic mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to mechanically and manually lift heavy loads in a safe way.

• Good communication skills in the English language (reading, writing, listening and speaking)
