Location:

Sacramento, CA (Regional Office) - Cust. installations How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Provides administrative support to field service operations. Performs complex work assignments that may require advanced skills. This position will support multiple areas, including sales, distribution and maintenance, and report to the Manager of Field Service.

The pay offered is from $23- $25 an hour.
  • Utilizes SAP for a variety of work tasks and needs

  • Accurately enters work orders

  • Collects work orders, materials, and other required items for internal/external billing

  • Performs computer entry for purchasing, receiving, and purchase orders

  • Works with inventory coordinators on quarterly FLOXAL parts audits

  • Performs asset tracking for microbulk, portables and trailers and other Field Service warehoused items

  • Works with the Manager of Field Service and Field Service Technician Supervisor to complete and close out initiatives, assist with audits, and close out findings

  • Answers inquiries and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate person

  • Provides consistent professional customer service to customers and associates

  • Routes incoming mail/email and inter-office correspondence to the appropriate person

  • Helps log and track department personnel calendar (TAFW and vacation schedules)

  • Maintains database of customers and facilities

  • Maintains safe record keeping for all files

  • Orders and replenishes office supplies as needed

  • Attends company safety meetings

  • Complies with all Airgas safety rules and company policies

  • Ensures proper and full time use of PPE

  • Ensures any accident or injury is promptly reported

Education, Experiences, Certificates/Licenses and/or Registrations:

  • High school diploma or equivalent needed. College degree a plus

  • Two (2) years prior work experience in a related field

  • Knowledge of welding and/or industrial gases and welding supplies extremely helpful

  • Must be computer proficient in Google platform or Microsoft Office with experience in data entry and report generation

  • Knowledge of ERP system helpful; SAP experience strongly preferred

  • Attention to detail and accuracy a must

  • Able to interact with customers and associates in a professional, respectful and courteous manner

  • Possess a professional phone demeanor

  • Must be customer service oriented

  • Have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills

  • Working experience with general office equipment

  • Ability to trouble-shoot, solve practical problems and resolve problems independently

  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision in a fast paced environment

  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task simultaneously

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
