Responsibilities

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic head of Investor Relations to lead our investor communication strategies, deepen investor understanding of Keysight, and enhance our corporate visibility within the investment community. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial markets, a proven track record in investor relations, and exceptional communication skills. This role is critical in fostering strong relationships with analysts, institutional investors, stewardship teams, and business stakeholders to effectively convey our company's vision, strategy, and performance in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy, effectively communicating the company's financial performance, strategic initiatives, and long-term growth potential.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors, analysts, and the financial community; respond to inquiries and provide timely information on company performance and market conditions.
  • Prepare and present materials for earnings calls and investor meetings, ensuring clear and accurate messaging that reflects company objectives and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the executive team and senior management to refine messaging and positioning of the company, including market trends, demand drivers, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute investor events to deepen investor understanding of Keysight's markets, solutions, customer insertion points and value proposition, including technology or market-specific teach-ins.
  • Drive an appropriate cadence of Investor Day events to educate and update the investment community on Keysight's long-term value creation strategy, including mid-to-long-term growth and earnings expectations.
  • Monitor investor sentiment and industry developments within the technology and industrial sector to identify potential impacts on the company and proactively communicate insights to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Build and maintain a robust database of investors, analysts, and industry contacts to facilitate effective outreach and engagement.
  • Develop an institutional investor targeting program that aligns with the company strategy and desired investor base.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the investor relations section of the company website, ensuring it is up-to-date and aligned with best practices in tech communications.
  • Manage the investor relations team, providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • An advanced degree with a minimum of 12-15 years relevant business and investor relations experience; electrical or related engineering experience and CFA a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing investor relations activities and building strong relationships with technology investors and analysts.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, capital markets, and corporate governance in a technology industry context.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
