We are hiring a Production Account Coordinator for our Core Publishing Solutions team. This Production Account Coordinator plans the materials and production processes required for production orders for assigned group of products.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a Production Account Coordinator, you will:

  • Interpret and evaluate information to identify customer-specific requirements for finished good production order.
  • Determine lot sizes for both general shipment and replenishment orders.
  • Determine optimal processing of production orders.
  • Create and release production orders to communicate all details necessary to ensure accurate production.
  • Monitor production orders created through production planning process to ensure quality.
  • Monitor and respond to reports.
  • Production Coordination.
  • Understand customer's service and quality expectations. Work with Account Representative or supervisor to educate manufacturing staff on customer requirements to ensure we exceed customers' expectations.
  • Monitor schedules, proactively anticipating the needs of the customer in providing information quickly and accurately. Take ownership of the job through the plant and proactively communicate all issues and information (changes in production plans, quality issues, etc.) regarding the product to the Account Representative on a timely basis.
  • Maintain status of all jobs currently in process or in the future. Ensure that dates are updated in SAP on a timely basis.
  • Ensure critical project milestones are tracked and communicated to the scheduling team in order to achieve customer ship dates.
  • Coordinate timely delivery of all required components to the appropriate department. Communicate special requirements of the job to appropriate personnel within the plant.
  • Coordinate delivery of all samples, proofs or other items to the customer as per service agreements or special requests.
  • Coordinate and organize any special packaging, handling and shipping requirements from customers to insure product is delivered on time and in excellent condition.
  • Support other production needs as requested (e.g., flex labor needs).
  • Maintain libraries.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Production Account Coordinator if your background includes:

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • 2+ years' relevant experience
  • Ability to read, interpret and explain documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders
  • Experience with Lean and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work on a super tight deadline and fast-paced project timelines
  • Good communication skills including experience sharing information across shifts and departments

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; Richmond, VA; Rochester, NY. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $43,300 - $80,300. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
