What You Will Do as a Human Resources Manager:

This management position is responsible for managing all areas of HR and payroll for select Distribution Centers including employment, staffing, diversity, EEOC/Affirmative Action, employee relations, training and development, benefit and compensation administration and compliance with state and federal requirements. Responsible for the implementation and execution of HR projects and programs.

The Human Resources Manager is accountable for creating a high performing work culture that is an integral part of achieving the Workwear objectives. this includes the management of the overall HR function for select Distribution Centers: workforce planning and recruiting strategies, employment engagement plans, ensuring effective administration of benefit and compensation plans, managing development training initiatives, ensuring effective DC specific policies and procedure etc.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Partner with DC management to identify facility strategies to accomplish Workwear Outfitters objectives
  • Manage overall HR operation for Workwear Distribution Centers including payroll and benefit administration, HCM system administration, development and administration of effective DC specific policies, compliance issues etc.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing and workforce planning for assigned DC. This includes assisting managers with determination of staffing needs, development of job definition and description, developing appropriate recruiting plans, and ensuring effective onboarding.
  • Direct and advise the DC management on employee relations issues including performance issues, employment issues, performance planning goals
  • Manage the overall Workwear Outfitters employee communication/employee relations process. This includes the preparation and review of organizational announcements, employee engagement activities and retention activities.
  • Manage and develop HR support staff

Skills for Success:

  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 7+
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business related discipline
  • Experience in general human resources management, to include specific management-level experience in recruiting, employee relations, employment and applicable federal and state regulations
  • Strong knowledge of benefit administration and workers comp management
  • Demonstrated experience managing policy administration and resolution of legal actions in an hourly facility environment
  • Payroll experience a plus
  • Experience with Workday a plus
  • Experience in management of a staff
  • Excellent communications skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Must be able to proactively manage multiple projects
  • Proficient computer skills (spreadsheets, word, database)
  • Proficient in the use of recruiting search tools
  • Less than 10% travel required
