Job Description

Role Overview:

Join our dynamic team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) for the Renal Service! In this exciting role, you'll work alongside expert physicians and a collaborative healthcare team, delivering top-notch care to patients as part of our renal inpatient consult service. You'll play a vital role in diagnosing and managing a diverse patient population while providing new consultation visits and follow-ups for those under your care. If you're passionate about making a difference, this is your chance to participate in patient education and clinical support programs that ensure excellence at every stage of care. Key Qualifications:

    Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience as a PA is preferred
  • BLS certification

OR

  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • 2+ years of related clinical experience
  • Related National NP certification
  • BLS certification

  • Adept at anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Resourceful, able to secure and deploy resources effectively and efficiently
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to convey information clearly
  • Relatable and approachable, comfortable working with diverse groups
  • Flexible and adaptable, adjusting approach and demeanor in real time to meet shifting demands

Additional Information:

Location: 1275 York Ave NY, NY 10065

Hours: 4,10-hour shifts, 8 am-6 pm, rotates weekends

Pay Range: 144k-182K
