Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures orientation of new clients immediately upon admission.
  • Obtains history and presenting information as delineated in program policy.
  • Facilitate process therapy group and/or psycho-education groups.
  • Provides individual therapy to clients on assigned caseload.
  • Maintains appointed continuous caseload of actively engaged individuals.
  • Coordinates comprehensive discharge plan to ensure seamless community reintegration.

Education and Experience

  • State of Georgia Licensure in a mental health related field is required.
  • 1 year of experience in mental health or substance abuse field preferred.
