Description Acara Solutions is looking for a Maintenance/Construction Planner for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ Due to the travel aspect of this position, which will require the contractor to drive a vehicle, a Driving Record Screening will be required for this role. Pay rate: $45-$60/hour Special Qualification: Journeyman/Lineman is preferred Experience / Background needed 5+ years of experience in construction, engineering, operations, or maintenance Utility or related industry experience is required Any work management program experience is preferred Maximo experience is a plus Must have strong computer skills, Microsoft Suite Experience working in an outage communication program would be preferred The outage communications program we use at APS is TOA. This individual will be going out in the field to identify poles, working through TOA to include pole outage details, and work through job packets (which would go to the planner associates and material coordinators) Experience in any of the below would be extremely helpful Experience running projects, CAD/design experience, previous planner experience, experience drawing transmission designs & plans, experience working with material, experience with transmission structures, experience with clearances & outage communication Contractor will be working Monday through Friday, 6am-2:30pm Additionally, there will be up to 10 hours per week of OT Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in construction, engineering, operations, or maintenance Utility or related industry experience is required Any work management program experience is preferred Maximo experience is a plus Must have strong computer skills, Microsoft Suite Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
