Reporting to the President and General Manager, the Senior Vice President, Data Solutions will serve in a key leadership role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will have responsibility for leadership and strategic direction in the development, execution, enhancement, and management of the company's data solution portfolio.

The SVP Data Solutions will join Inovalon's Insights business unit focused on life sciences companies and other healthcare sectors to quantify and communicate the real-world value of healthcare interventions and to align our clients' business strategies with the evidentiary demands of an increasingly value-driven marketplace. This role will lead our Data Solutions teams focused on healthcare economics and commercial analytics solutions.

Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding products, services, and operations of the Company to achieve optimal insight into the Company's products, services, capabilities, support, and functionality requirements;
  • Manage, maintain, and be ultimately responsible for all day-to-day operations pertaining to the Company's delivery of product services and/or the vendor relationships fulfilling such, in such a manner as to maximize the Company's overall success, fulfillment of its contractual obligations, achievement of its corporate mission, and achievement of its fiscal goals, including, with respect to such product and service groups;
  • Oversee the expansion and growth of the data solutions function, including the design and implementation of scalable business processes and infrastructure;
  • Assess current state of operational management processes, business plans, reporting and controls; adjust and improve as appropriate;
  • Provide visible and impactful leadership to employees as an executive and member of the business unit ELT; and
  • In partnership with the business unit ELT, set the "tone at the top" of the organization that reinforces the values and employee value proposition.
  • Maintain comprehensive communication with Inovalon management and appropriate internal personnel, vendors, and clients regarding timelines, readiness, needs, risks, cost implications, resource requirements, and all other material aspects related to the Company's operations;
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.


Requirements



  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience within the healthcare industry with demonstrable accomplishments in developing and executing a growth strategy, driving operational efficiencies and revenue goal attainment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with P&L and BoB management of $10MLN +
  • Strong business acumen in HEOR and/or clinical development and/or medical affairs with minimum of 5 years of work experience in those areas
  • Minimum of 3 years of leading large teams of 30+ people
  • Proven track rack of growing professional services/consulting organization
  • Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization
  • Proven situational leadership skills and the ability to motivate and generate enthusiasm with individuals across all levels of the organization. Exemplary interpersonal skills that translate into positive relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Commitment to working in a team environment with an emphasis on collaboration and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and clients


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in HEOR, Pharmacoeconomics, health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, public administration, health economics, business administration, law, or relevant discipline; or
  • Master's degree or PHD in relevant discipline preferred.

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$250,000 $300,000 USD
