The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through teaching, service, and research as appropriate to the position. Qualifications Basic qualifications

Applicants must have a PhD (or equivalent) in a humanities or social science discipline, with a specialization in Asian American studies, at time of application. Preferred qualifications
Applicant's teaching experience and scholarship should be grounded in social science or humanities, with an emphasis in Asian American studies. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated success teaching large lectures. Application Requirements Document requirements
