About the Role

Impact you will make

The Senior Privacy Analyst is integral to the daily operations of FinThrive's overall compliance and ethics program. As an experienced member of the team, you will support the business in understanding and meeting compliance requirements while fostering a positive culture of compliance. When needed, you will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring specialized compliance requirements that are new to our business due to new customers, solutions or entry into new markets.

What you will do



  • Assist with the operations of the company's compliance program, including but may not limited to: periodically updating and/or revising compliance related policies and training materials, tracking required training completion, developing compliance awareness materials and maintaining required documentation
  • Manage any annual reporting or certification requirements
  • Assist with receiving and documenting HIPAA issues, including preparation of client notifications
  • Assist with the development and/or maintenance of data use and privacy related processes related to Federal or State laws such as HIPAA, FCRA, GLBA, and CCPA, including those processes which support individuals' rights such as opt-out
  • Assist with consumer privacy requests, including intake, processing, responding and tracking via the company's privacy portal
  • Research upcoming legislation or changes to current regulatory requirements
  • Review and evaluate the life cycle of confidential and sensitive data, including the collection, storage, use, transfer, retention, and destruction of information
  • Provide support for compliance/privacy portions of audits
  • Collaborate with other teams such as Information Security, Human Resources and the business to complete other compliance related initiatives across the company
  • Perform various other duties or special projects as requested based on team objectives



What you will bring



  • 2+ years prior experience and knowledge of state privacy laws
  • Ability to read, understand, and translate regulatory language into operations
  • Ability to read and understand laws and regulations
  • Working knowledge of compliance program elements and privacy principles
  • Travel required: Minimal



What we would like to see



  • Experience with data use and protection
  • 2+ years prior experience with FCRA compliance or consumer data privacy requirements
  • Prior experience working in the healthcare industry
