WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: The ERP Director is responsible for deploying overall capabilities (Infrastructure, ERPs and other connected enterprise applications) for nVent. This leader will work in tight collaboration with our Digital team and business segments to drive consistency of their landscape within the nVent Digital ecosystem. They will also be working with leaders from Finance and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) on strategic, high-priority initiatives, leveraging state-of-the-art technology to drive transformative change. In this position, you will be accountable for the following areas:
Systems thinking: Collaborate with multiple digital and business stakeholder to develop a shared understanding of business capabilities and how the Digital ecosystem can be leveraged to solve business problems. ERP + Connected Apps: Develop & execute on a multi-year ERP consolidation and modernization roadmap strategy with input from relevant stakeholders. Own the ERP + connected apps architecture and develop a best-in-class approach towards ERP deployment & cutovers leveraging Agile methodologies. Change Management: Collaborate with PMO and business stakeholders to ensure change management is fully integrated into ERP cutovers ensuring zero business disruption. Stakeholder acceptance, communication, and all levels of required training should be effectively implemented. Talent: Manage, lead and grow functional analyst and technical development talent ensuring that the teams are right sized by region with up-to-date skills & knowledge to deploy, enhance and operate platforms. Work with PMO to track and manage resource capacity and utilization within the team. Operate: Define SLAs around resiliency and security. Prioritize technical launches/patches to ensure the continued stability of the platform & minimize technical debt. Innovate & Partner: Own vendor relationship and licensing; optimize vendor ecosystem and invest/divest depending on lifecycle & roadmap. Develop relationships with external service providers to develop flex capacity and/or to optimize support quality/cost. Assess technology trends and develop a "forward thinking" platform roadmap
YOU HAVE: Academic background: Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration or related field. MBA preferred. Previous experience:
Ideally 15+ years' experience with overall IT management -including infrastructure, data, large scale systems deployment such as ERP Successfully led at least three complex, full-lifecycle system implementations At least five years of leadership responsibility managing a team of teams (managers and senior managers) and influencing executive-level management and key stakeholders. Strong understanding of overall IT landscape especially with modern platforms such as Cloud, API Ability to make and influence decisions around SaaS v/s IaaS; Build v/s Buy etc. Experience at deploying technology within a manufacturing/industrial environment
Pay Transparency: nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $175,000 - $250,000 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual or long-term incentives. WE HAVE:
