We Are Seeking an Account Manager for our Civilian Business!

AIS Account Managers fulfill an essential role in AIS' federal growth strategy. AIS Account Managers support the vision for growing Business Unit revenue in assigned accounts and support the execution of the organic growth strategy. AIS Account Managers are accountable for all aspects of client relationship management, account growth planning, and execution, and serve as an escalation point for resolving client issues. Each Account Manager at AIS works closely with our service delivery teams and serves as part of the business unit's management team. Successful Account Managers at AIS establish and maintain consultative, value-based, trusted-advisor relationships with new and current clients to develop new opportunities and work existing opportunities within assigned accounts. Account Managers identify and target key account personnel (potential sponsors and influencers) for business development and revenue growth. Account Managers maintain a network of teaming and vendor partners to create winning teams for competitive opportunities with AIS prospects and clients.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supports the creation, update, and execution of strategic Account Plans to proactively target and grow revenue within assigned Accounts.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned accounts in billable and unbillable roles as needed to achieve account growth, provide customer excellence, and clearly articulate AIS' value proposition.

  • Identify new opportunities and upsell strategies to grow existing contracts, win new clients and support capture activities within assigned accounts.

  • Work closely with proposal staff, marketing, program managers, and AIS Technical Directors to develop winning solutions in support of our client's business/mission needs.

  • Keep in close contact with AIS service delivery teams and align efforts to have proper context for account planning and issue resolution.

  • Develop quality client deliverables, review content, and support pricing strategies in support of account delivery and growth.

  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit and interest in growing a book of business within AIS.

  • Excels in establishing and maintaining relationships built on trust, credibility, and reliability.

  • Driven to exceed client expectations and serve an account with integrity and a vested interest in their success.

  • Ensures alignment between client expectations and company capabilities and communicates and advocates client needs to all relevant AIS organizations.

  • Gains domain experience with the assigned account's line of business and an understanding of the client's mission.

  • Experience in professional services, including service delivery, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, managing profitability, issue resolution, and authoring proposals/statements of work.

  • Willingness and ability to commute and/or travel as needed to meet the role's responsibilities.
