Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Assists execution of various I nformation Technology (IT) tasks/projects, allocation of IT hardware/software, and development of Command IT resources for AEGIS TECHREP.
  • Oversees Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) Enterprise Tool (NET) and service acquisition and implementation activities.
  • Supports development and execution of command IT procurement and annual budget planning activities for AEGIS TECHREP.
  • Supports general end-user IT/system administration functions such as Microsoft Windows OS and desktop application (Adobe, Microsoft Office, etc.) troubleshooting.
  • Facilitates NMCI Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) desktop/printer hardware troubleshooting.
  • Facilitates authorization and creation of all NMCI NIPRNet and SIPRNet account requests.
  • Serves as SIPRNet Trusted Agent (TA) for AEGIS TECHREP.
  • Facilitates Apple iPhone assignment/configuration to end-user via Enterprise applications.
  • Supports Incident Response (IR) activities in response to security incidents.

Travel

  • This position includes a low level of travel.

Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or other relevant technical degree, or minimum of two-three years of experience in IT or related field.
  • Familiarity of Apple iOS mobile platform.
  • Basic IT-level understanding and installation of networking, network devices (switches, routers, etc.), and network cabling.
  • Familiarity with printers, fax machines, and multi-function devices.
  • Familiarity with USN and NMCI Enterprise tools/processes such as: NAV-ITAS, NET, Purebred, and Requirements and Award Process Tool.
  • Familiarity with NMCI service acquisition processes (unclassified/classified CLINs).
  • Familiarity with SIPRNet TA responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with Power Bi.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Required active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT-II Certification
  • Purebred certified (desired but not required).

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired; however, candidates eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered. If the selected candidate does not hold an active clearance, he/she will receive a contingent offer. A start date will be established once an interim Secret clearance is granted.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must maintain the capacity to communicate with their supervisor and/or manager when not in the office.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling
  • Reaching, handling, using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
