The Loan Processor - Commercial is responsible and accountable for providing high quality service by supporting the lending department, procedures and regulatory guidelines and giving special attention to communication, compliance, loan quality and timing

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manage a high-volume loan pipeline
  • Prepare "Needs List" in accordance to banks procedures
  • Create a positive customer experience by effectively communicating needs list, timelines and funding requirements
  • Gather the necessary paperwork and documentation required to make a complete loan file.
  • Review all loan documentation to ensure completion and , accuracy, and verify compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Request and/or run reports from third party agencies and conduct thorough review of all information to identify potential risks (i.e. credit, OFAC, Westlaw, UCC search, Flood Determination Certificate, Tax Verification)
  • Evaluate loan file for reasonableness and escalate issues as needed
  • Meets closing deadlines
  • Maintain and update app internal loan processing system which includes data fields, transactional documentation and notes
  • Submit complete loan file for underwriting
  • Upon receipt of loan approval will submit request for loan documents
  • Review loan documents upon receipt from loan documentation department for accuracy.
  • Responsible for releasing loan documents and coordination of signing
  • Review executed loan documents upon receipt for any alterations
  • Prepare loan file for closing and coordinate with all necessary parties involved for funding
  • Prepare loan file to be imaged as final File of Record
  • Create tasks for Post Closing items, follow for receipt.(i.e. final title policy(ies) and recorded documents)
  • Review final title policy(ies)


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Minimum 1-3 years' of experience in loan processing or other related work experience preferred


A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary or pay for this position is $22.30 to $35.12. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. A discretionary bonus and/or business line incentive may be provided, in addition to a medical and other benefits, dependent on the position.
