About Rivian

Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract.

As a company, we constantly challenge what's possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced transformation management leader in finance and accounting to join our dynamic team. • Collaborate effectively with business owners, sponsors, IT, consultants, and leadership to prioritize, ensure alignment and achieve project objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals, RFPs, ROI analyses, current state assessments, future state designs, and system requirements.
  • Identify and analyze existing business and finance processes, pinpoint areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive the implementation of process improvements, including the removal of wasted steps, the implementation of new systems, and the automation of manual tasks.
  • Ensure projects are prioritized strategically and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to engage stakeholders and foster a transformative and continuous improvement culture, focusing on process, people, data, and systems.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in the field of business and finance transformation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business process improvement or transformation, ideally within a finance function.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and project management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and build consensus across different levels and functions within an organization.
  • Experience with developing proposals, RFPs, ROI analyses, and driving digital transformation (ERP, process specific integrations, financial software, and automation).
  • Experience with process mapping and modeling tools is a plus.
