Key activities include:

  • Oversees the "actual to forecast" comparison by day/month for production consumption postings.
  • Performs reconciliations for crude and refined Sigma Fine movements, develops and assists in any Sigma Fine model changes and participates in process improvement efforts.
  • Responsible for the business process for measuring, validating, reconciling and publishing all the flows and inventories into, within and out of the Plant.
  • Closing refinery month-end and daily inventory positions.
  • Takes on a multi-disciplinary approach to projects and initiatives that involve a high degree of interaction.
  • Addresses and resolves all levels of yield issues. Thoroughly investigates product losses and reports results in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for monthly inventory compliance.
  • Communicates and presents information on a daily basis
  • Performs Yield Accounting staff duties in their absence
  • Reliable and engaged in furthering organizational goals, demonstrated by maintaining high standards of personal performance, professional growth and attendance.
  • Fosters trusting relationships with co-workers and cross-functional work areas.

  • Reports to the Senior Accounting Manager

The Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for employment, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. Qualifications for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, engineering or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum three (3) years in Yield Accounting role preferred
  • Management or team lead experience preferred
  • Experience in SAP and yield accounting software highly desired

Hiring Range:

The hiring range for this position is $83,036-$96,000, plus non-discretionary bonus.The candidate selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
