This is a hybrid position. Purpose of Job As a Payer Relationship Coordinator, you will help manage Ridgeview's partnerships with health insurance companies. This role involves cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with our payer accounts, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure payer needs are met, and acting as a bridge between our services and their mission to improve access to high-value healthcare. Job Functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact communication between internal stakeholders and payers, building and maintaining strong relationships, and acting as a trusted partner.
- Understand the unique processes of each payer, aligning our solutions to their objectives, and fostering a collaborative partnership.
- Engage proactively with payers and internal stakeholders to provide timely support, address inquiries, and ensure seamless communication to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support of our payer partners, including facility enrollment.
- Identify potential issues and proactively address concerns, finding effective and efficient solutions to maintain positive payer experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify strategic partnership opportunities which can promote efficient workflow and communication processes.
- Execute other payer related duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or Managementwith 2-years experience in healthcare working with payers and health systems
- In lieu of above educations, 5-years' experience in healthcare working with payers and health systems
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of managed care payment and government payer methodologies
- Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
- Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence to complete job functions as mentioned above
- Comprehensive understanding of revenue cycle process in the hospital, clinical, and ancillary healthcare setting
- Interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft Office applications
License/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or management.
- 5-years' experience in healthcare working with payers and health systems.
