Purpose of Position Assembles, disassembles, modifies, or repairs precision mechanical instruments or mechanical assemblies of electromechanical or electronic instruments. Tasks and Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. + 8 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Equipment Knowledge Use of hand tools of all types, sanders, drill press, saws, grinders, drill motors, soldering iron, heat gun, micrometers, calipers. Ability to read/interpret detailed blue prints and schematics.
