Position Summary

The person in this position under the supervision of the Lead/Supervisor conducts order processing, activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards. Ensures coordination of materials and information is shared between Materials, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Accounting Departments to support successful and expedient product delivery to the customer.

  • Enters, processes, and tracks all orders that are submitted including gaming parts, inter-warehouse transfers, conversions, and gaming software.

  • Creates manufacturing work orders related to customer service orders

  • Conducts work order maintenance such as BOM changes, shortage allocations, and cancellations

  • Expedites material delivery to fulfill customer demands in a timely manner.

  • Processes all orders in a timely manner, and monitors each order to make sure that it is precise and accurate.

  • Ensure orders with special instructions ship accurately and on time.

  • Work with inter-departments to ensure orders will run smoothly and effectively.

  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle and warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Training and/or Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with a manufacturing or distribution company in a materials environment

  • Inventory or production control experience preferred; knowledge in Lean Concepts

  • Solid background in an MRP/ERP system

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Conceptual knowledge of production and inventory control practices

  • Quality driven and detail oriented ability to deliver exceptional Customer Service the highest level

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills

  • Computer literate and proficient in all MS Office applications

  • Self-directed and able to set priorities on a continuous basis

  • Knowledge of bills of material, manufacturing work orders, and shop floor control.

  • Knowledge of Lean Concepts

  • Some process analysis skills; capable of solving problems
