Job Summary This position starts on August 15, 2025. Looking for talented faculty who want to create impactful learning experience for our students! Works in a team environment to perform the duties of a faculty librarian, which include: reference services and student assistance; design and delivery of information literacy instruction to a diverse user population; departmental liaison responsibilities; outreach and programming; collection development; usage and configuration of library technology and systems; and participation in college and District Library committees. Cultivates partnerships and actively works towards establishing productive relationships with departmental faculty, adjuncts, and campus staff. Assesses instruction and program effectiveness on a regular basis. Embraces continual professional development, improvement, and learning in order to remain current in the field. Demonstrates a commitment to service excellence, innovation, student success, inclusion, and integrity in the performance of job duties. Minimum Qualifications A Master's degree or higher from a college or university program accredited by the American Library Association (ALA) is required The following disciplines meet the requirements to teach in this field: Library and Information Studies, Information Studies, Library and Information Science, Library Science, Information Resources and Library Science, Information Science, AND is from a college or university program accredited by the American Library Association (ALA).
