Job Title: Assistant-Network

Location(s): Cary, NC

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Tier-3 Network Operations for medium/large scale enterprise contact center networks.
• Manage and maintain Cisco routing and switching solutions (multiple datacenters).
• Manage/operate F5 load balancers.
• Manage/operate ACME Clients.
• Optimize network performance and availability, operational incident management.
• Review ACL list/Firewall changes and partner with Security team for execution.
• Troubleshoot network performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Apply patches to devices for firmware and OS ugprades.
• Analyze network capacity to anticipate future needs.
• Develop/maintain network documentation: diagrams, configuration, and runbooks.
• Operate within a structured change management model.
• Support and implement changes during scheduled maintenance windows Off hrs.
• Plan, test, and implement network changes. Communicate with stakeholders.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures and recommend new policy.
• Work closely with others to support projects and resolve escalated issues.
• Engage circuit repair teams as required to resolve connectivity issues.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network engineers and staff.
• Stay current with industry trends, and emerging technology.

Must have skills:

• 7-10 yrs of advanced experience in IP Network routing, switching, Cisco ACI, ACME Client, Voice Networking, F5 Load balancing

Desired Skills:

• Palo Alto Firewall experience, Juniper experience, general infrastructure support in a highly available, multi-datacenter environment.

Education/Certifications:

• 4 year degree desired. CCNA. CCIE-level certification valued.
