Job Summary Working in a fast-paced, high-energy, One Stop Enrollment Center; this position provides student service program support and resource referrals. This position maintains the daily workflow for Admissions & Records backend processes and procedures, and collaborates with team members in a virtual and campus environment. Assists faculty and professional staff and teams with the planning and processing of educational opportunities. Performs duties with a strong technical aptitude, and knowledge in Admissions & Records policies and processes, including admissions, registration, transcript evaluations, graduation processes, and record compliance. Essential Functions 70 % Uses established resources to evaluate transfer coursework and review standard equivalencies as submitted on transcripts. Document prior learning decisions established by Faculty, assess military and clock hour coursework using the established resources. Create, update, and maintain equivalences within online databases and repositories. 10 % Provide support and guidance to college staff, faculty instructional councils, and students with inquiries related to transcript evaluation, transfer credit, and prior learning assessments. 10 % Support other college staff during PEAK registration (the months of January and August). 10 % Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution, and one full-time equivalent year of student services or college teaching experience or experience assisting with educational program development and coordination, student advisement, financial aid, or related student development programs. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Experience with transcript evaluation and transfer credit processes B. Experience with PeopleSoft Student Information System (SIS) C. Familiar with the DocuWare electronic filing program D. Knowledge of the Transfer Evaluation System (TES) E. Familiar with Parchment and the National Student Clearinghouse F. Experience working directly with college Faculty, staff, and external institutions Special Working Conditions This position will be required to sit for a prolonged period of time, viewing a computer monitor.
