Senior Principle level Pega Developer (Low Code Developer) Washington, DC (REMOTE) Salary From: $145,000 per year MUST: Eligible for IRS Public Trust Experienced Senior Principle Level Pega Developer (Low Code Developer) 8+ years of professional development experience with Pega and PRPC (low code development) 5+ years of experience working with APIs and databases of various types 5+ years of experience creating Pega applications using Pega IDE 5+ years of integrating Pega applications with external systems 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading teams Experience working with and supporting Federal clients Strong foundation with web languages CSS and HTML that conform to design systems Strong open-source programming experience with languages like Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby or Python Experience with frameworks, libraries, or runtimes like React, Rails, Node, Next, Angular, Spring, etc. Experience with relational database technologies like SQL, Postgres, Oracle, etc. Understanding of how to deliver polished, scalable, maintainable, performant code Strong understanding of SDLC process Agile or Scrum Strong communication skills both written and verbal Able to work well with a team of developers Able to explain technical items to non-technical in a professional and polite manner Strong interpersonal skills able to manage and bring the best out of others on the team DUTIES: Develop and maintain applications, ensuring high standards of quality, maintainability, and test coverage Manage and lead a team of developers help them to mature in their role with a goal of improving and optimizing systems with a focus on integration and reducing the burden of tech debt for the government Solve problems across the tech stack alongside other developers on the team, building new systems and improving existing ones Provide mentorship to other members of the team Meet with the client and articulate benefits and risks associated with different technical approaches Consistently apply best practices, including a focus on accessibility Collaborate with team members and government/client stakeholders to craft creative solutions and build technology products that improve the lives of those in the communities they serve Engage with coworkers across disciplines according to Agile and Scrum methodologies, including participating in planning, breaking down requirements into tasks, refinement and estimation, etc. Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
