Machining Manager

Role & Responsibilities:

* Supervise and manage machine operators and engineers engaged in layout and

machining operations to produce product components and directing staff who run

conventionally and numerically controlled machines

* Ensure all activities and procedures meet the company standards and the total quality

assurance of all machining specifications, safety of machine operators

* Study production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion

of job assignments

* Ability to study capacity analysis and propose new machinery equipment

* Ability to study drawings and specifications, production schedules and assign work

orders and duties to the machine operators

* Ability to establish or adjust work procedures when necessary to meet production

schedules and optimize work flow ensuring sufficient resources are available to

complete tasks in the time frame required

* Ability to run maintenance plan based on the machine specifications

* Administration of performance management, progressive discipline and attendance

tracking system

* Provide leadership for safety, loss prevention and cost reduction activities

* Cooperate with production, QA and designing departments to handle appropriate

inspection and testing requirements of the parts

* Seek for approvals advice and/or support from the Plant Manager on all matters

affecting the policy of the company

Candidate Profile:

* Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Postgraduate degree is a plus)

* Similar experience at least 3 years in machinery shop floor

* Knowledge of machinery functionality, especially in laser, bending, punching, milling,

lathe, welding machines e.t.c.

* Knowledge to convert drawings to G-code and upload it to the CNC machines

* Experience in 2d and 3d design software preferably in "Autodesk Inventor", "Solid

Works" and "Autocad"

* Strong communication & analytical skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and

effectively

* Problem solving and decision making skills

* Teamwork spirit, , transparency, and results orientation

* Good PC knowledge of MS office

* English: Fluent (oral and written)
