Description

Provide lead technical, operational, and logistical support through all phases of contracted services of the Corporate Training Center.


Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Work in collaboration with management on the preparation of 38.14 contracts. Thoroughly review contract requests prior to sending to customers, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Identify potential modifications that would result in a more positive customer experience.
  2. Coordinate aspects of program delivery including but not limited to room reservations, catering, materials, enrollment, evaluations/surveys, and certificates of completion.
  3. Manage the administration of contract training activities, including generation of new courses and course section scheduling. Provide instructors with work assignments, paperwork, supplies, and textbooks.
  4. Provide ongoing support to the department/function to ensure efficient office operations (e.g., correspondence, records, reports).
  5. Complete financial activities related to contract training including monitoring expenditures, processing budget transfers and journal entries, transferring funds, invoicing customers, and Banner data entry related to the direct/indirect cost rates, reporting, and other activities as requested by WCTC or the Wisconsin Technical College System.
  6. Work in collaboration with account managers to contribute to the success of the CTC on-campus training, workshops, and events by offering customer service support as requested.
  7. Support departmental and college-wide quality and process improvement initiatives. Identify and propose potential improvements in alignment with strategic goals.
  8. Maintain current professional and technical knowledge in the field through professional education and activities.
  9. Participate in and contribute to assignments and special projects of a similar nature and level.

Minimum Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of office practices and procedures, contracting procedures, and grants along with marketing principles and techniques.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, completing and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage time, organize and prioritize work. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work on several projects at a time.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to work processes.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team and/or with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced ability to work with computer software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's Degree or two years of post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field.
  • Two years of related, detailed work that includes customer service and accounting.

Supplemental Information

This position is available to start on or before, March 31, 2025.

This is a fulltime, benefit eligible position.

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
