Within AI Platform, the DeepSpeed team develops the DeepSpeed open-source library which makes deep learning efficient and easy by combining numerous research innovations and technology advancements. DeepSpeed collaborates deeply with many Microsoft teams across the company, such as Microsoft Research, and numerous products. The DeepSpeed team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer-Machine Learning Frameworks with interest for innovations and for building high-quality systems that will make significant impact inside and outside of Microsoft. ResponsibilitiesCreates and implements code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable. Writes and learns to create code that is extensible and maintainable.Creates a clear and articulated plan for testing and assuring quality of solutions, and defines success for outcomes of tests (e.g., unit tests). Contributes to the identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product area with little oversight.Contributes to efforts to break down larger work items into smaller work items and provides estimation.Participates in code reviews to ensure coding standards are followed.Contributes to the development of automation within production and deployment of a complex product feature. | |
