Job Description

Position Summary:

Rockwell Automation is seeking a communication expert who will be responsible for building interest, awareness, and advocacy for enterprise Information Technology. The successful candidate will develop and amplify content associated with key initiatives and programs while using their expertise and talent to find and capture our target audiences. You will report to the Cybersecurity Delivery Office Director.

Your Responsibilities:
  • A strong individual contributor on a virtual global team in a large matrixed organization
  • Experience developing enterprise communications for a global enterprise
  • Responsible for crafting thoughtful, thought-provoking stories/narratives based on target audience (blogs, newsletter, internal posts, and articles)
  • Evangelize and drive the adoption of IT goals and initiatives across the organization
  • Role will include writing, designing, and editing content; managing project deliverables and activities; working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders; coordinating activities; and tracking progress.
  • Identify and assess information technology communication needs
  • Identify, develop, and implement communication plans to analyze, produce, and submit relevant news, articles, and other information for sales consumption and action. Review plans regularly for continuous improvement.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 2+ years experience in relevant area with proven ability to manage conflict, provide leadership, organize, and make decisions.
  • A bachelor's degree in communications or marketing.
  • Experience with creative design tools, software programs, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.
  • Work with autonomy and work collaboratively in a group setting.
  • Project management skills.
  • Manage projects with a variety of partners.
  • Writing skills are critical and foundational to the role.
  • Experience in technology communications.
  • Experience creating interactive, multimedia education training and resources for employees globally.
