DEPCOM Power, a Koch Industries company, is seeking a Construction Performance Engineer to join our fast-paced team. This role is part of our Project Controls and Scheduling team within the Project and Construction Management organization, supporting all DEPCOM Projects and Services. We're looking for a candidate with construction industry experience who enjoys identifying process improvements and is adept with technology to train field employees.

This position involves extensive travel, as you'll spend 95% of your time on-site supporting the construction of utility-scale solar PV plants ranging from 10 to 300 MW. The role includes per diem and monthly trips home, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to significant renewable energy projects across the country.

This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

What You Will Do
* Analysis of project data using software such as Microsoft Excel
* Quality assurance and quality control of project data
* Generating daily reports regarding project metrics and work completion
* Assist with the setup of progress tracking tools
* Assist with quantity take-offs based on engineering documents
* Assist with equipment tracking and audits
* Track labor productivity and installation rates for self-perform and subcontracted scopes of work
* Train field staff on Earned Value Management, productivity, and progress tracking
* Support project staff with tracking of Subcontracted and Self-Perform scopes of work progress tracking
* Analysis of various construction installation processes to identify opportunities to optimize (Time Studies, Lean Walks etc.)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Construction experience and/or project controls, estimating, scheduling, or project management experience
* Experience creating reports and compiling data
* Valid driver's license

What Will Put You Ahead
* Bachelor's degree in a construction or technical discipline
* Experience in the renewable energy industry
* Earned Value Management knowledge
* Field Engineering/Construction experience (Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer)
* Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI or Tablaeu) and/or time collection software (Vista/InEight/Heavyjob)

For this role, we anticipate paying $90k - $120k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
