Mustang Cat is looking for an experienced General Sales Manager to lead the Machinery Product Support Sales team in pursuit of market share and revenue goals.

General Sales Manager (Product Support Sales) Responsibilities include:



  • Coach and lead multiple sales teams
  • Lead sales strategy efforts and develop business plans to achieve sales objectives
  • Implement processes to meet all Cat metrics and maintain relationships with Cat Representatives
  • Provide sales forecasts and related reports to Executive team for use in strategic planning
  • Provide input to Sales, Parts, and Service operations
  • Set sales goals for team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with territory customers
  • Oversee merchandising programs and manpower levels for department



General Sales Manager (Product Support Sales) Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or related field
  • May consider candidates with equivalent industry sales and management experience in lieu of educational requirements
  • Minimum of 10+ years of related industry experience
  • Experience in a service and parts operations environment
  • Possess exceptional sales management and marketing skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, make strategic decisions, and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to effectively manage changing customer requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrated successful management and leadership of sales team
