Data Scientist

The Opportunity:

As a data scientist, you can turn these complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges. Across private and public sectors - from fraud detection, to cancer research, to national intelligence - you know the answers are in the data.

We have an opportunity for you to use your leadership and analytical skills to improve artificial intelligence and data analysis capabilities for Department of Defense missions. You'll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You'll develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, use automation, apply machine learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help warfighters and military leaders make informed decisions. You'll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it. Join us as we use data science for good in new command and control aerospace initiatives. This position requires the ability to travel 10% of the time.

You Have:

• Experience creating cross-sectional longitudinal datasets in Excel
• Experience leveraging data science programming languages, including Python, R, or Stata
• Knowledge of correlation regression r-squared values, coefficients of determination, coefficient relationships, multicollinearity, and heteroskedasticity
• Ability to experiment and solve complex open-ended client challenges
• Ability to execute forecast models, trend, and comparative analyses
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Neural Networks
• Experience with data visualization using Power BI
• Experience working in Information Operations (IO)
• Knowledge of Everwatch and Advana
• Ability to speak the Spanish language
• Secret clearance or above
• Master's degree
