Description
The NP functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). In collaborative practice with the Medical Director, attending physicians and fellows, the NP will be responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Hematology/Oncology clinic patients. Incumbent must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. Salary range: $89.06-$127.19/hourly Qualifications
Current CA Licensure as RN and Nurse Practitioner-required Current BLS from American Heart Association or Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner 1-2 years of Oncology NP experience- preferred Ability to independently prioritize work with minimal Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals in many Skills and abilities to perform history and physical Skills and abilities to perform accurate assessment and Skills and abilities to develop and implement appropriate Ability to triage patients accurately after evaluating Ability to intervene to deal with patient problems when Ability to write clearly and distinctly so as to accurately Ability to use electronic medical record Ability to work independently with limited supervision in Ability to use computer for standard word processing, Detailed background in oncology clinical medicine-required Knowledge and ability to organize, coordinate, and follow Skill in communicating and translating medical information Knowledge and proficiency of the English language Ability to maintain confidentiality-required Ability to interact effectively and communicate accurately Skill in working as part of a team and collaborating with Ability to perform effectively under conditions of Skill in delegating work for maximum efficiency-required Skill in prioritizing assignment to complete work in a NPI #, Enrollment |
