As aSr Business Systems Analyst - Distribution Optimizationsupporting theSupply Chain Team, you will be responsible identifying inefficiencies at distribution sites, analyze data to find root causes, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions. You'll manage vendor relationships, develop business cases, and support the integration of solutions like robotics and automation at ourFort Worth Main FacilityatFORT WORTH, TEXAS (US).

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Identify inefficiencies and operational challenges at distribution sites, analyzing data to understand root causes.

  • Collaborate with distribution sites and vendors to create and evaluate feasible solutions that align with organizational goals.

  • Develop and advocate comprehensive business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments, for stakeholder approval.

  • Facilitate integration of approved solutions, such as robotics and automation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure solutions meet deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations; resolve issues as needed.

  • Engage with internal teams (operations, IT, finance) to support and align initiatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  • Identify and implement cost-reducing solutions, demonstrating financial benefits through business cases.

  • Monitor and report on data to track solution effectiveness and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

What You'll Bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in distribution management, process optimization, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.

  • Ability to understand business requirements, key performance indicators and convert into analytical hypothesis in a structured and logical manner along with solution identification.

  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain network, planning, forecasting, inventory management, logistics, warehouse.
