Physical Therapist

Regions Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to work in with our amazing team in our Regions Hospital Rehabilitation Center.

This full-time physical therapy position will primarily serve patients admitted to our 21-bed CARF-accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with coverage to the acute floors of our Trauma Level 1 hospital. We maintain CARF specialty accreditation in stroke, brain injury and spinal cord injury care. Regions Hospital Rehabilitation Center is a Spinal Cord Injury Model System facility, which means we participate in research and remain connected to top rehabilitation facilities across the nation who provide high quality, holistic spinal cord injury care. An ideal candidate would be one who is eager to contribute to the continued development of our spinal cord injury program.

We are seeking a PT with experience in and readiness to evaluate and treat each of these diagnostic conditions: stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and complex medical cases. Prior experience with acute inpatient rehab setting preferred. Experience with seating/mobility knowledge preferred. We work collaboratively as an interdisciplinary team so strong problem solving and communication skills are needed.

This is a full time, M-F position with every 4th weekend rotation and holiday rotation.

Work Schedule:

M-F 8:00-4:30
1 weekend/month rotation
Yearly holiday rotation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed with the Minnesota State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in similar settings/diagnoses.
• Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
