The Nursing Unit Secretary performs clerical duties according to the job description that contributes to the operation of the unit. Time frame may be revised with mutual agreement of unit administrator's specific specialty areas. II. JOB REQUIREMENTS A. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Work requires a high school level of educational development. 2. No certification, registration, or licensure required. 3. Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine. 4. Work requires computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn EPIC and other computer based systems. 5. Work requires the ability to understand and respond to simple written or verbal instructions. Incumbents must respond appropriately to instructions, questions, or requests for information.

Salary Range: Minimum 16.16 per hour - Maximum 26.69 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
