Job Description

Are you ready to identify potential risks in the sports industry and develop prevention strategies to avoid them? Get ready to join a first in class winning organization seeking passionate risk management and safety students ready to step up for this exciting opportunity.

The Risk Management Internship is employee and fan centric focused on enhancing the experience for all who visit American Family Field. You'll navigate complex scenarios and collaborate with internal business partners to promote risk mitigation in and around American Family Field.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

    Administer and maintain certificates of insurance, insurance policies, and policy binders
  • Monitors claim reporting for tracking purposes
  • Conducts OSHA reporting and safety related training
  • Proactively monitor, research and apply health and safety standards/best practices across the organization to promote occupational health and safety
  • Prepares reports for Director - Risk Management to submit to the Bureau of Labor Statistics and other entities
  • Coordinates the facilitation and tracking of the Motor Vehicle Record review
  • Assists with conducting Occupational Safety training for our staff
  • Tracks and manages all Club related housing insurance placements
  • Receives and processes insurance claims and incident reports; collects and analyzes appropriate documentation; submits documentation to third party administrator
  • Manage and submit insurance invoice payments for Finance Department

Candidates must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate from an accredited college or university pursuing a Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or Actuarial Science degree.
