Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
UNC Greensboro, located in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, is a higher-research activity university as classified by the Carnegie Foundation. Position Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate training logistics for staff professional development training opportunities and UNCG Human Resources campus events and to market and promote professional development programs, workshops and services across campus. This position is in the Learning and Organizational Development (L&D) unit and reports to the Director for Learning and Organizational Development.
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and two or more years of learning and development experience.
  • Experience developing and delivering training content to a diverse audience.

Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, instructional design, or a related field and three to five years of experience as a learning and organizational development specialist.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills including the ability to develop and manage a training catalog, support subject matter experts with training activities, design training content, delivery training in a variety of formats (e.g., workshop, virtual, on-line, etc.).
  • Experience in higher education or continuing education preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary.
  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate well with others is essential.
