THE JOB:

As a Senior Purchasing Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing new supply sources. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $20.00 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Survey markets for the best source of new supply sources
• Provide a high level of service when interacting with vendors and guests, using problem-solving, attention to detail, and great communication
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
• Work with departments to develop specifications, technical specifications, minimum qualifications, the scope of work, and deliverables, as appropriate
• Prepare purchasing-related reports and statistical and analytical information as requested, monitor purchasing systems and update files, and maintain files relative to purchasing (e.g. price list, catalogs, vendors, purchase orders, etc)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Takes pride in their work
• Has 2+ years of warehouse, inventory, and/or purchasing experien
• Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences
• Describes themselves as having strong negotiating and analytical skills
• Enjoys building new relationships and helping others
• Can prioritize multiple tasks at one time
