Senior Technical Solutions Lead

Peraton's Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector has an immediate need for a Senior Technical Solutions Lead supporting our growth organization. The position will be responsible for leading the design of innovative and cost effective and customer driven technical strategies across our organization in the areas of enterprise IT, C6ISR, application development, and mission support services solutions leveraging modern technologies and approaches that address the business and technology needs of our clients while helping to grow the business.

What you'll do:

Lead the identification of technical solutions that support our growth strategies.
• Oversee the creation and the documentation of technical solutions, development of the gaps in our current capabilities needed to achieve those solutions.
• Identify industry and academic partners that support technical solutions.
• Engage in consultative dialog with clients in order to draw out underlying business and technology issues, understand the client drivers, requirements, and to validate the solution options.
• Work closely with sales, practice, and delivery leaders in order to determine the overall solution strategy and approach aligned to the client's business objectives and drivers.
• Collaborate effectively with the appropriate business and delivery leaders to design the solution and agree on key solution parameters prior to costing activities.
• Lead matrixed teams of solution professionals and subject matter experts in the development of integrated, cost-effective solutions that meet the client's requirement; maximizes competitive advantage; and comply with best practices and standards.
• Establish strong relationships with Peraton partners and work with partners to drive high quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
• Identify and evaluate solution risks and create strategies and plans to mitigate those risks.
• Represent the solution during governance reviews and in reviews with senior Peraton management.

Required

• Bachelor's degree with major coursework in business, computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 16 years industry experience (DoD and/or Public Sector customers) or a minimum of 14 years' industry experience with Master's, OR a minimum of 12 years' industry experience with PhD.
• Experience in supporting successful technical solutions for large, complex opportunities and proposal submissions for Public Sector customers.
• Demonstrated experience working with senior and executive management levels.
• Demonstrated knowledge across a broad range of mission focused and technology services and solutions.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; active clearance preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge across a broad range of IT services and solutions, coupled with a strong customer focus in the DoD and/or civil and military health markets.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with clients at the senior and executive management levels.
• Ability to lead diverse, matrixed teams.
• Must be local to Reston, VA and have the ability to travel ~40% of the time to support new business opportunities.

Desired

• Experience with quantum compute, encryption, and resilience technologies.
• Experience with AI platforms and application development.
• Active security clearance.
