Responsibilities

System Management Branch. Part of DoDIN-A operations focus on multiple dispersed, independent/intra-dependent systems performing multiple functions (Operating System (OS), Hardware (HW), database, software applications, etc.) that are interoperable with other elements or systems to perform a function as part of a larger, more complex system. The GCC operates, monitors, sustains, and secures Enterprise directed systems throughout the GCC AOR and internal services.
* System Applications Support. The GCC operates, maintains, and manages internal and Enterprise-level application use to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the network, systems, and services. Each application provides support to different aspects of IT support and services. Implement, deploy, operate, maintain, and sustain varied system applications that support the Enterprise in the GCC AOR. Provide the following system application support:
* System Configuration Management: The GCC provides automated system configuration, updating, patching, monitoring, system reporting, and statistics for deployed applications, OSs, and services using configuration, monitoring, and Enterprise-managed systems/services. Deploy, configure, monitor, report, and sustain services IAW with system owner's guidance, BBPs and/or industry standards. Configure and maintain applications to support system owner and mission owner requirements. Manage application/software updates and patches, then provide system/service status reporting for systems within GCC AOR as requested by the Government.
* Security Vulnerability/Assessment Systems: The GCC monitors and manages Enterprise vulnerability and assessment tools within the GCC AOR. Customers in the GCC AOR use these tools to scan, assess, and report key vulnerabilities within their operational environment. Deploy, install, operate, monitor, sustain, and secure vulnerability and assessment system and services.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

    2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Possess and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Certifications: DCWF Code 461 Basic: TBD
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical business users in both written and verbal forms
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience in deriving business process and data requirements through the analysis of process and systems documentation
  • Ability to work shift hours, weekends and/or holidays

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
