Learning and Development Specialist, Fleet Partnership Services

The Learning and Development Specialist, FPS (Fleet Partnership Services) will play a key role in strategically and tactically supporting Commercial Enablement (CE), commercial capabilities and FPS Teams. As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and cataloguing of digital assets for our Learning program. You will work closely with the Commercial Sales and FPS Education Manager and Subject Matter Experts to create blended learning solutions for use in e-learning, video, classroom, and virtual training sessions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in adult learning instructional design, learning technology, multimedia development and customer service training. They will participate in cross-functional projects, including intake, needs analysis, project planning, and managing stakeholders to deliver timely and effectively learning solutions. They will synthesize and write course content based on input from subject matter experts, existing written material, previous training courses, in-depth interviews, etc. They will create a variety of material including but not limited to courses for eLearning delivery platforms, videos, presentations, facilitator guides, participant guides, and reference guides They will assist with tracking metrics and benchmarks to assess the effectiveness of training and provide insight to management. The candidate must work with a lens toward best-practice sales and service methodologies and practices, supporting Element's Commercial operating discipline, and helping FPS team members to support our clients.

A Day in the Life

Learning Design, Execution, Support and Reporting (40%):

  • Administration, troubleshooting, and support of the LMS (Workday) and LXP (Degreed)
  • Monitor and maintain learning governance and standards
  • Provide support for learning-related inquiries from the business
  • Develop instructor-led, e-learning and blended training offerings; Create learning content for both digital and in-person training solutions (e.g., eLearning, videos, pdf's, infographics, virtual training sessions); Publish learning content within the system; Support logistics and manage attendance and enrollment
  • Refresh and revise content as business needs change
  • Participate in FPS training and education sessions as needed
  • Collect and analyze data related to learning and development to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
  • Monitor learning system usage and support learning dashboard and reporting requests
  • Lead system enhancements, process improvement, and automation initiatives; support configuration and conduct testing for system enhancements
  • Develop and maintain procedures and work process documentation

Project Management (30%):

  • Support and manage components of FPS learning and onboarding programs, including system configuration, implementation of new features, completion tracking, and user support
  • Support and manage components of business learning projects and updates to existing content, including content curation, resource updates, and instructional design
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope, and assess risks
  • Work with vendors and manage learning programs
  • Collect evaluations, learning assessments, and/or conduct interviews to measure program success; use data-driven insights to propose learning program enhancements and new initiatives

Communication (20%):

  • Create FPS communication materials to build awareness and drive the adoption of learning and development offerings
  • Ensure effective communication and understanding of learning and development expectations and strategies across key business partners
  • Assist with developing presentations related to learning and development strategy, performance, and roadmap

Stakeholder Collaboration (10%):

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across PPC, Commercial Sales, FPS, Data Science, and the business to scope program deliverables and align learning and development initiatives with organizational goals
  • Consult with stakeholders to identify needs, gather lessons learned, and provide regular project progress updates

Requirements

  • Three or more years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Solid understanding of learning principles and practices; knowledge of various instructional design methods, tools, learning techniques, and development strategies is preferred
  • Familiarity with a learning & development strategy and including learning program design and delivery, learning facilitation, and measurement of learning solution success
  • Ability to recognize learner support patterns, identify root causes, and solutions
  • Proactive thinker with a detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approach
  • Savvy with Excel, system reporting, and learning new technologies
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and follow-up skills; ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Self-starter and demonstrated ability and willingness to learn; motivation and dedication to excellence
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; skilled collaborator
  • Awareness of industry trends and best practices in learning and development
  • LMS and LXP administration experience preferred (Workday and Degreed experience is a plus)
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate, Hour One, Synthesia, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Experience designing/delivering career development tools, resources, and programs and collaborating with "on the job" SMEs who facilitate job-specific training
  • Professional learning certifications helpful, but not required
  • Prior Customer Service Training content development experience desired, but not required
  • Industry experience, B2B, and Business Services; is a plus

The hiring base salary range for this position is $60,400 - $83,050 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
