TSC is seeking a Accounts Payable Accountant I. This position supports the Finance and Accounting Division. This position is remote based. However, candidate may be required to periodically come into a TSC location for work and or meetings.

Responsibilities:

This position requires a flexible individual with experience in Accounts Payable.

  • Monitors invoices received and is responsible for performing 3-way match by verifying materials have been received and accepted and matching receiving reports with invoices.
  • Responsible for entering AP invoices into the AP workflow and processing approved invoices.
  • Responsible for working internally with other departments to troubleshoot issues with materials not received or accepted.
  • Assists AP team with other AP duties.
  • Communicates with AP Manager regarding unresolved issues and/or consistent problems that need to be addressed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the organizational information
  • Other duties as assigned by AP Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant industry experience (Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP strongly preferred).
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Strong verbal, written, and video communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and SharePoint (or another workflow tool)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Deltek Time and Expense
  • Ability to analyze discrepancies, resolve invoice issues, and identify process improvements.
  • Knowledge of direct and indirect cost allocation as it relates to government contracts and billing practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and payment cycles, particularly in fast paced environments with complex government contract requirements.
