JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Extension in Westmoreland County seeks a part-time Family Well-being Program Assistant for six months to support a project exploring youth serving programs through the county and supporting the county Extension Educator. The program assistant will actively work the educator to fulfill responsibilities such as networking and connecting with organizations throughout the county, supporting interview and survey data collection, and the organizing of community forums in the spring. The assistant will also be expected to participate in state meetings and trainings (online and/or in-person), when available. This is a hybrid position.

Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Interest in working with people of diverse backgrounds
- Self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills
- Available to work flexible hours
- Valid driver's license and use of a private automobile

This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

  • FBI Criminal Background Check
