The Salvation Army Midland Division Madison County Corps is looking for a 360 Life Center Administrator. This individual will provide oversight to employees, volunteers, and the community at large. The 360 Life Center Administrator serves alongside the Corps Officer(s) and aids in fulfilling daily administrative and clerical responsibilities. In the absence of the Corps Officers, the 360 Life Center Administrator will oversee the daily operations of the 360 Life Center.

This is a full-time exempt position with starting salary of $48,000-$50,000 per year based on education and experience.

The position is located at: 3007 East 23rd Street, Granite City, IL 62040

Essential Functions



  1. The 360 Life Center Administrator will assist the Corp Officer(s) in carrying out daily administrative tasks and responsibilities.
  2. Share in leading/participating in all staff meetings.
  3. Provide supervision and oversight to staff and volunteers.
  4. Assist with the preparation of yearly operating budget and management of corps finances.
  5. Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the corps property.
  6. Assist in establishing and maintaining rapport with other community organizations.
  7. Additional duties as assigned by the Corps Officer(s).
  8. Maintain confidential, information that is seen and discussed daily in the Social Service offices.
  9. Meet with the Intake Specialist on a regular basis and assist with social services clients as necessary.
  10. Employee will lead the Christmas efforts in the 360 Life Center service area in the following, but no limited to:

    1. Coordinating bell ringers both hired and volunteer; drivers both hired and volunteer and transportation of kettles to the Alton Police station for counting.
    2. Working with stores and businesses to host a kettle stand or counter kettle.
    3. Assist in Christmas assistance and distribution.

Qualifications



  1. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  2. Proven skills in supervision/management of others
  3. In addition: Must be highly organized, motivated, a self-starter with the ability to multitask and be creative.
  4. Certificates and Licenses: Successfully complete The Salvation Army Safe from Harm training. Driver's License is required and must possess or be able to obtain Driver's License to occasionally drive for 360 Life Center business.
  5. Reasoning Ability: Posses the ability to hear and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.


Education/Experience:



  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required
  2. Associate degree (preferred not required) or three years of experience in a similar position.
  3. Previous Customer Service experience preferred.


Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required. Should be able to work with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and additional computer software and programs.
