This is a Temporary Position that will run from May 28, 2025 to July 25, 2025. The working days for this position will be Monday-Friday and some weekends. SUMMARY: Lifeguards assist the Head Lifeguard in maintaining strict safety rules and procedures at the pool and waterfront, while at the same time creating an atmosphere of fun for the swimmers and boaters. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: No Education or Experience needed. Will provide on the job training. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current Lifeguard Certification or ability to pass by May 28, 2020. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must pass all applicable background checks. English proficiency sufficient for communication with supervisors, co-workers, clients and customers. Must be at least 16 years of age (BFOQ).
