Position: Recovery Support Specialist - Mental Health

This position is available at Heritage Behavioral Health Center's Wellness Recovery Drop In Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for empowering individuals to set recovery goals and take ownership of their recovery through a community that promotes personal growth, personal empowerment, responsibility, and greater independence. Individuals employed in this program must have the ability to self-identify as a person in recovery from mental illness and committed to his/her own recovery in order to help others through their recovery. The facility is open 7 days per week - staff will be required to work weekend hours on a regular basis.

Education and Experience:

A minimum high school diploma or equivalent, at least 21 years of age, plus the willingness to work with people who are attempting to recover from a serious and persistent mental illness are required. Candidates with the CRSS Certification (Certified Recovery Support Specialist) are preferred.

Individuals in this role will be required to obtain certification within 18 months.

In addition, a valid driver's license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance are required for this position.

Salary Range: $37,440.00 To $45,760.00 Annually ($18.00 - $22.00 per hour)
