Staffmark has partnered with a company in Yakima, WA, seeking a hardworking and reliable Yard Worker to join their team. As a leading provider of transportation and logistics staffing solutions, We are excited to offer this exciting opportunity to motivated candidates, with flexible availability, seeking a steady income with competitive pay and benefits!

Pay: $24.00/hr (overtime after 40 hours)

1st Shift Hours: 5:00 am - 10:00 am start time (varies depending on daily needs), Monday-Friday

*Some weekend work may be required

The Yard Worker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with various tasks as needed.



  • Keep the yard clean and organized
  • Assist with tarping and strapping loads
  • Operate various yard equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc)
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous related experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to operate yard equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc)
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50 pounds), stand/walk/bend for extended periods, and work in all weather conditions and a noisy/dusty environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
